2025 Great Southern Budget Briefing

The GSDC was proud to host the 2025–26 Great Southern State Budget Briefing last week at Retravision Stadium in Albany.

The event welcomed the Hon. Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Police; Road Safety; Tourism; and Great Southern, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Western Australian State Budget and its implications for the region.

With a strong turnout of community leaders, local businesses, and regional stakeholders, the briefing provided a valuable opportunity to hear directly from government, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of the Great Southern.

GSDC partnered with the Albany Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Denmark Chamber of Commerce and Katanning Regional Business Association to deliver the event.
