GSDC Board vacancy – call for nominations

The Great Southern Development Commission (GSDC) is seeking nominations to fill one Community Representative vacancy on our Board.

Board members bring regional knowledge, leadership and diverse perspectives to ensure our work reflects the needs, strengths and aspirations of our region. Learn more about our Board and current members via Our Board. 

GSDC is seeking a nominee who has knowledge and experience relevant to the region, upholds integrity in all decision making, has high ethical standards and the ability to work cooperatively to achieve shared goals across a wide range of economic and social development matters. 

In accordance with the Regional Development Commissions Act 1993, community nominees must reside in the region and can be nominated by themselves, another individual or a community organisation. 

GSDC is committed to building an inclusive Board that reflects the diversity of our region. We strongly encourage nominations from people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people, women and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
