The new Allied Health Centre provides a shared care model of healthcare, expanding the existing physiotherapy practice in Denmark, and enabling the colocation of complementary services in the new facility.

In Round 6 of the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants program, Ocean Beach Physio received a $150,000 grant to develop the five-room multidisciplinary facility. The project meets a previously unmet demand and provides Denmark with an expanded range of allied health options previously unavailable in the area.

The project offers broad benefits for the economy and community, including employment opportunities for skilled healthcare professionals and growth of the healthcare industry in the Great Southern. The project’s use of local businesses in the development and supply of the centre is another key economic benefit.

The opening of the Ocean Beach Allied Health Centre is a testament to the positive impact of local investment and the RED grant program. By addressing critical healthcare needs, creating skilled jobs, and supporting the local economy, this project exemplifies the benefits of community-focused development.

Congratulations to Ocean Beach Physio on this remarkable achievement, and we look forward to seeing the continued positive impact on the Great Southern region.
