Marketing the Great Southern to potential investors and to those seeking to relocate to the region is a key GSDC activity. The GSDC provides information to these client groups to help them to make informed investment decisions. Information about relevant infrastructure, government policy and demand projections is often used by the companies in scoping and feasibility studies, and for developing other business planning tools.
The GSDC’s investment clients include proponents in mining, biomass power generation and aquaculture. The GSDC also liaises with local and Perth-based businesses from various industry sectors that are looking to expand their business and operations in the Great Southern.
