The facility, located on the site of the old Stirling Markets, was the brainchild of local entrepreneur, the late Paul Lionetti in collaboration with Preity Dhaliwal, and has been in development since 2022. Key features of the centre include a sensory room, sand pits, a bike track and veggie garden, with the 4 separate animal-themed rooms being designed and curated especially for the different age groups they cater to.

The Village Childcare Centre focuses on play-based learning for up to 68 local children, and is scheduled to open in mid-august.
