TEDx Kinjarling Brings Great Southern Speakers to the World for the Second Year
Speakers from diverse backgrounds took to the stage at the second ever TEDx Kinjarling on 25th February in Albany, an event supported in part by the GSDC.

Based around the theme of ‘imagine’ the six speakers covered topics including forced adoption in Australia, addiction, detoxification and spiritual development, giving back to community through charity, living a positive and passionate life following a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, brain-based holistic teaching methods, and spiritual health and physical health.
Among the speakers were Great Southern locals Tamala Ridge, Founder and Director of the Institute of Spiritual Companioning, Dr Jonathan Ramachenderan from the Great Southern Palliative Service, and Jennifer McRae who is studying history with the aim of documenting Western Australia’s forced adoption era.
Supported by funding from the GSDC, the event broadcast these inspiring speakers worldwide.
