GSDC Board tour local businesses
Following the October board meeting in Albany, the board of the GSDC went out on the road visiting local businesses who have put their RED Grants to good use.
The first tour took place at Albany manufacturer Himac Attachments, where the board toured the offices and manufacturing facility. Himac Attachments received a RED Grant in round 2 of the program, and used the funding to support digital infrastructure at the facility.
Accompanying the board were other local manufacturers who had received RED Grants, and were keen to learn about Himac’s innovative use of technology.
Later in the afternoon the group visited the Albany Business Centre, who received a RED Grant in Round 4. The group toured the redeveloped facilities available for rent or short-term hire by new small businesses looking to grow.
